Luxury Jack Nicklaus Golf Course in Kilada

A new luxury resort golf course has been recently recognised in Kilada as one of the finest ever to be made in the region. Built in the style and quality of Jack Nicklaus’ championship courses, this sprawling 208-hectare property, combined with the best of the services it can offer, is a testament to his winning standards. The golf course includes a beach resort, a modern country club, and an exclusive residence offering.

With the resort concurrently being promoted to all PGA members and golfers worldwide, the association’s reputation is strengthened by Greece PGA National. It also has become part of the world-renowned PGA National group of properties showcasing some of its prestigious golf and hospitality accommodations worldwide. Incidentally, that title is only limited to one certified resort per country.

Other acclaimed examples include the Scotland PGA National at Gleneagles and the Ryder Cup venues of the England PGA National at the Belfry.

PGA Scotland also features the P.G.A. Centenary Course designed by no other than Jack Nicklaus. This sprawling, one-of-a-kind Nicklaus signature property enjoys a perfect all-year-round climate, situated among rustic olive groves in the hills of Kilada.

The resort features a great view of the ocean and other islands in the area, as it was also designed to enhance and conserve the surrounding natural environment. It ultimately offers a game of golf with good challenge and enjoyment that fits all players at all levels. The professional layout of the course is made out of two loops in nine holes, all of which lead back to the Country Club.

The course has entries to greens that are free and clear, making the playing guests experience that feeling of being at par with other resorts of the highest standards. The design itself consists of a routed 7,100-yard course laid out onto the natural forms of the Grecian hillside. It then winds around olive groves and ancient ruins. Even Jack Nicklaus himself was astounded by its beauty the moment he stepped foot onto the property.

Indeed, it is beautiful, as the site is situated above a fishing village right off the coast of the Peloponnese Peninsula. You can see the course go through natural valleys amongst the olive trees with such a spectacular view. With sustainability and environmental conservation always on top of mind of the Nicklaus team. they are making a golf course that preserves and revel the natural vegetation of the land.

They did it by allowing incredible vistas to look out into the shimmering dark blue seas of the Argolic Gulf. The area had a domain that was specifically chosen for its ideal climate. The course was also made to blend in with the existing native greenery, with the management team looking to put in irrigation systems equipped to make full use of available natural water and reduce its wastage.

Due to be finished in 2023, the Nicklaus Design Team, together with Dolphin Capital, will fulfil an outstanding and scenic PGA National Golf Course for the residents and guests to indulge in and appreciate. In the meantime, work is already ongoing on the initial holes, and grass is already scheduled to be laid down in the summer.
